My new room!

I finally have some time to sit down and tell/show you all about my room. It’s pretty roomy actually. I think it’s a bit bigger than my room at home maybe- and I’m always getting comments from friends about how large a bedroom i have.

The layout is room, bathroom, room. So the 2 rooms are connected by a bathroom (shower and stool- or toilet- I’m using plumbing terminology here (because I miss my old job!)). Each room has a little counter unit with a sink, drawers on each side, and a medicine cabinet.

This is the inside of my door.

It is held open by this

(because I am cheap and for the moment, this works. it’s glacier freeze/berry flavored btw)

Now I need you to turn 180*. your back is to my door. You will look over my desk and at my bed then see my window:

Next I need you to step closer to my window so you can see outside.

I have a nice view of employee parking! And of one of the coed dorms. Dad said I need to make sure that I close my blinds every so often, if ya get my drift šŸ˜‰

Turn to your right. Your back will be facing my bed.

If you step closer to the sink there will be a door to the bathroom. I have stuff like this posted up there:

Ok, now you need to come out of the sinks area and face the door. Look at my lovely closet!

My stuff is on the right, and in my desk/dresser, and under my bed.

I’d tell you about my roommate- but that would include talking about my job. And I can’t talk about it. So sad. Because I’m loving it, and wish I could share all of the interesting things.

Diez Cosas

Since I am kindasortareallyextremely bored and tired I will give you a list of 10 things you probably don’t know about me. My mom doesn’t even know all of these (hi mom!).

  1. I really likeĀ Beatles music- although I haven’t listened to all of it and can’t distinguish it easily from other groups while on the radio…
  2. I talk to myself in Spanish when I’m tired or bored, making up pretendĀ conversations with people i know
  3. I might want to marry gym-boy… but it would help if he talked to me more. I had a “spanish conversation” with “him” after not seeing him at the gym today
  4. **edited out**
  5. **edited out**
  6. I went to a private Christian school through 8th grade (actually two, because I moved before 2nd grade) and I’ve gone to 2 public high schools- because I moved again during the 1st semester of my freshman year.
  7. I love to sneeze- this one was inspired by a recent sneeze šŸ™‚ . I used to make myself sneeze when I was younger.
  8. I have clothes that I wear from 5th grade. In fact, I’m wearing some shorts from that era right now haha.
  9. My parents made me start sports. And I was kicking and screaming all the way.Ā I had to choose from volleyball (minimal running), basketball (quite a bit of running), and track (all running as far as I was concerned). I chose volleyball in 6th grade. Played for my schools untilĀ through halfway through my junior year season (yeah, remember that coach i mentioned inĀ #5Ā ((she was truely out to get me))- I quit the team) and then during my freshman year i had my knee scoped so couldn’t play for most of that. Played club vb 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th. Played summer vb league a couple years. Did throwing with track in 8th and 10th grade. Now after my reading my lengthy (??) sports history…
  10. Today I went 20 mi in spinning and then ran 1 mi and I’ve never felt stronger. I’m pooped now, but hey- I really accomplished something today. In fact, I’m starting to feel happy with the way my body looks. Yeah, I’m no skinny minnie, but I’m strong and healthy and beautiful (i can tell the last one by all of the boys flocking to me lately šŸ˜‰ ).

Hey, Hey! I Might Stick with This.

giants having too much fun, i guess

TMI Tuesday anyone?? I dont think that this week’s post will be as… um… personal as last week’s- but it still is TMI :p . Today’s topic: Bras.

It’s a love hate relationship, really. Let me just say that I officially hate my bras with underwire. They poke me and are stiff. They are not very convinient for lounging around because they don’t let you move… But let me add that I used to love them back during freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year… well i guess it’s just recently that I have started to hate them :/

Even though there is an extreme hatred between us (the bra and me), they are still necesary. I don’t think It’s would be very comfortable wearing a blouse w/o one. And running? One word: OUCH!

And since I have been doing a lot more running lately, I’ve been wearing sports bras more often. My conclusion: the next best thing to going au natural. That is why I’ve been pretty much living in them recently… along with other articles of clothing of course šŸ˜‰

So I guess we should get to the styles of bras i like. I have pretty much completely switched over to the Hanes Sport bras- 2 for $8 baby! I’m cheap and they have enough support for me.

I suppose I could ask what kind of bras you all like- but that would be kind of personal, huh?
