After my wonderful workout this morning, where I ran for a total of 30 minutes (a personal best), I drove by work to pick up my paycheck and bought some gas (for a low, low price of $3.79!!) before heading home. When I got home I started packing for my weekend trip to Oklahoma!
B has yet another basketball tourney where I will be in attendence. According to the parents of other teams, we are the team to beat. I think that’s a nice place to be in.
Back to me. This hotel has a cool set up. Since they don’t have a “little gym” inside the hotel, you can go workout at the gym down the road, Body Works. We drove past it, it’s a hole in the wall of a strip mall. I’m not expecing much. I guess I should be happy for something, rather than being left empty-handed. (Although one of the main reasons I go to the gym is to see gym-boy. Who cares about meaningful conversation- nothing matters once you see those baby blues- at least I think that’s what color his eyes are)
Ugh, my “t” key doesn’t want to work. Really, I’ve been left unsatisfied by this computer. It is slow, it jumbles up things on the screen, the touch volume control hasn’t worked well at all, I hate vista, and the extended battery doesn’t last the 4.5 hours it’s supposed to. I’m pissed off and I want to go to bed. Hopefully my w/o at that “gym” will cheer me up (??).
Watching his always cheers me up (but I won’t be watching it because I want some shut eye!)
**I wish that boy at the front desk would stop trying to make eye contact with me. He’s too short for me… And I’m cranky**

Hello, Mr. Turtle. I wish that I could say I found you on a run this evening. But… I didn’t. Instead I found you because my dog was intent on eating your scrumptious toes. Now here you are, my sister holding you, hoping that you won’t scratch her- or maybe that was mom talking. O.k. back outside you go. Look fireflies! But I’ll get chiggers if I try to catch some. Good bye, Mr. Turtle
**Most of this post is making fun of my mommy dearest, so don’t worry if it sounds funny. Sorry it’s not TMI Tuesday. Nothing personal has happened in the last week**

This is why I hate swimming in lakes and the deep ends of pools! It was quite unsettling that he was staring me down all through dinner. We went to Joe’s Crab Shack after we (actually the team) got our medals for 7th place at nationals. Seeing as how this is the first time that they have gone to nationals i think that they did pretty good! But now we have to go home…
So since I knew ahead of Time that I would be short on time this morning- leaving town and all you know??- I figured that I would try something new: a Vlog. It’s a bit dark but that just adds to the ambiance
… ok I’ll add this video in like 4 hours- when I get home and all since my Flip video thing is being S-T-U-P-I-D… holy smoke i almost misspelled stupid. how stupid is that?

Hey, there’s Cold Play on the Today show while I’m eating my breakfast! I always tease my middle sister O for liking them- somehow Coldplay and Nickelback sound similar to me :/ . Well, here’s Cold Play:
And here’s my breakfast (basic 4 cereal with milk and a red delicious apple- not pictured):

Or in more common language: “I think my heart just skipped a beat” when I saw gym-boy putting the volleyball net up while I was running on the track (that is above and surrounds the gymnasium). I might have to confess to you that he is the reason I ran for 20 minutes straight (the whole running thing is still new and exciting!). Watching him is deffintely on my decadence list. So Is talking to him, which i did for like 2 minutes on my way out of the gym (it was about volleyball last night and how not-fun it was- he has such a cute smile!)
After running I went to lift weights. It’s always a bit akward when almost every college age guy has his eye on me the whole time. (Is it flirting if I make eye contact several times :p ?) Soon I ran into a mom and her kids that have been in my sisters’ classes. O (my sisters) and JR (the boy) used to have a crush on each other. I think he’s kinda cute for a 14-15 year old. But not as cute as those college boys
Speaking of boys. There were a couple of guys that kept interupting my swimming laps at the outdoor pool. I didn’t quite feel like having them even near me since I’m pretty sure that my swimsuit doesn’t cover my chest area very well when I swim in a horizonal manner. I check often and it’s ok, but it doesn’t feel like it.
Any suggestions for the swimsuit dilema? A new suit isn’t an option since this in the longest-in-the-body one piece that I could find (that didnt make me look “big”)
*** A nike+ graph to come soon. I’m too lazy/I dont feel well enough to go upstairs now

My hair is so itchy against my sunburn!!! Plus I feel like posting a picture of myself. Vain? Maybe. Self-centered? A bit. Bored? Definitely.
Going to the gym soon. I need to get out of my laziness rut. Today’s plan: go to gym: run and lift. Go home: eat lunch. Go to the pool: swim laps! Go to the dentist: have 2 baby cavities filled (I hate it when sealants fall off!) Depending on how I feel after that… I don’t know what I’ll do. Tonight I’ll try to go with B and Mom to bball practice. B’s team is fun to watch.
I have never played basketball; i didn’t like it much. Actually, I played recently in P.E. (like 2 years ago) and made a basket for the other team. Hey, no one told me that it matters what basket you throw the ball in! Maybe I should take that basketball class at *edited out*. That way I could be able to play on a rec team in the future. Ok. That’s a plan.
I may not have my whole day planned- but I sure can plan my life.

Today I didn’t go to the gym because I was too lazy
But I went tonight with the sister and the dad. I talked to gym boy a lot tonight- to make up for the fact that I havent seen his gorgeous face in like 2 weeks. Our conversation didnt stray far from the topic of there being volleyball at the gym tonight.
On our way out the door my dad tells me, “Well, He’d really dilute the race.” My mom and grandma have this thing about “diluting the race” since we’re really tall if we married short people it would balance out the tallness in the kids. B thinks he’s too short for me too. Maybe he’s like 5′10? I’m 6′3. Big difference? Not too bad.
In the car dad gave us the talk about how we need to… ahh this is boring.
I bought gas today. Almost $51 !!!
-Maybe I’ll be more in the mood for writing tomorrow. George Lopez has my attention right now.

Tonight Dad took me to Whole Foods for dinner while B was at bball practice. It was a hard choice but I chose the KC sandwich:
It had roast beef, roasted red peppers, carmelized red onions, mixed salad greens, and horseraddish mayo all on ciabbata bread.
We ate outside. It was such lovely weather!
When we finished at Whole Foods we went over to Borders since it was really close. There was a cool book that I wanted to show dad, Talking Dirty Spanish. (Have I mentioned how much I love Spanish?) There are phrases in it like: hacerse el oso: to make an ass of oneself, literally: to make the bear. I want this book for my birthday- it’s coming up you know (hint, hint, mom)
Oh and that’s not my arm. I’m not that hairy. That arm belongs ”a mi padre”.
Oh and here’s a “BINGO!” with a license plate reading “Annie”, our dog’s name. B wanted me to post it… not like she ever reads my blog.
